Accounting and Business Consultant’s Engagement Role:

We were engaged to provide a manager with Big Four experience to assist on the SAP FI implementation team during the SAP project. After working successfully on the FI team in the US, this manager was chosen by the lead project manager to coordinate activities and manage the Sydney, Australia SAP implementation efforts. After working on the Australia implementation, our manager was engaged as an assistant to the US SAP project manager.

Engagement Results:

The company was well behind with implementation efforts in Sydney, Australia. Led by the experience and leadership from the manager from our firm, the Australian location was able to focus, quickly authorize and obtain additional interim resources, and accomplish execution of important tasks previously holding up implementation progress in both Australia and the US. After successful implementation and cutover to the new SAP system in the US and Australia, our firm’s manager continued to assist with post implementation efforts in the US.
