The company had limited accounting personnel and was interested in best practices in implementing COSO and control monitoring solutions.

We were engaged to Provide outsourced internal audit consulting services for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance.

Engagement Results:

We successfully implemented COSO and SOX requirements. Management was able to adopt a risk-based approach to efficiently utilize limited resources and implement entity level controls that enhanced the Company’s operations and management efforts. The Audit Committee of the Board of Directors continue to receive clear and concise updates on a regular basis and have expanded the role of internal audit to assist with special accounting improvement projects beneficial to the company and its accounting operations, such as going paperless with files and records.
